Shrubs & Perennial Vines
Both shrubs and perennial vines are maintained in the landscape more than a year and develop a woody structure. Due to their woody structure shrubs and perennial vines can be considered trees in miniature and, in fact, many do reach tree size in time. Although as individuals, their impact on the landscape is less than that of trees, many of the cultural requirements are the same.
